Wanna know how it all began? How we got to where we're at? All the little stops along the way? Here they are in a chronological ordering for your viewing pleasure.

In the early days before we had our official LLC, Jerry was just a regular human. Working that 9-5 at Town Fair Tire, blind to festivals and events. With some musical experience as drummer doing open mic gigs, all he needed to do next was get fired.
After Jerry got fired he began hosting parties at his house in Johnston with a group of individuals that called themselves Stop Trippin. These Stop Trippin parties lasted days, weeks, months. At the end, a 6 month one. As all good things have to come to an end so was the days of Stop Trippin.
Finally someone introduces Jerry to the festival world in 2016 and things got progressively more bonkers. 3 years and 21 festivals later Jerry comes to the realization that hosting a festival would probably be fun.
So he did that.
Following is the unfolding events of JatC's 3 aspects.
The events. The Record Label. The Radio.

THATFEST was hosted by Jerry, Jon and Mandy of Stop Trippin at Rocky Mountain Terrain Park in Carthage, Maine.
2 stages
3 nights
Around 150 people attended

7 tracks
11 minutes long
These were the first rough electronic songs that Jerry made using only FL Studio.
A sample as to what was to come next.

This is the first event without the members of Stop Trippin and using the new name Jerry and the Curls.
3 stages
A Past Stage, a Present Stage, and a Future Stage.
4 golden instruments were handed out and on the final day there was a free-for-all jamboree.
Around 250 people attended.

In the wild times of Covid, and with no events happening anywhere, Jerry decides to take this time to expand his one musical release he had put out into a full blown record label. The first artist to join was one of Jerry's longest friends Cory Gierhart going by the name CJWisemiller bringing rock/rap/reggae to the mix. Although Jerry and Cory used to play open mic nights together, these 7 songs were recorded all by Cory brought to Jerry to release.
Thus the JatC Record Label was officially formed.

This year Jerry teamed up with Cassie McRae to host the next THISFEST but all major festivals had canceled for the year due to Covid so we had to do the same.
Then as the summer was coming to an end and people were starting to go outside again we started to look for venues closer to home that could accommodate a small festival. Cassie worked her magic and we managed to get a place 20 minutes from our hometown (instead of driving up to Maine)
3 minutes over the CT border we had a spot with 4 cabins, a sauna, lake access and a whole weekend to do as we wish.

Jove had worked with Jerry at Matunuck Oyster Bar for a bit and when he heard that Jerry had started a record label, he wanted in. So, with open arms, we welcomed Jove to the label under the name Manof introducing some abstract experimental electronical music to the pot. The JatC Record Label now had 3 members.

Jove informs Jerry that hes sitting on a bunch of unreleased music that he wants out there. So we set fourth doing just that.
Joves second release was 2 songs adding to the collection of music we had going. More fuel for the fire.

After playing a couple sets as a DJ for THISFEST 2019 Ryan Gagne was introduced to Jerry and when Jerry heard that he had original music besides the music that he mixed, that was all it took to add this dude to the label. Bringing some techno/house and turning 3 artists into 4.

CJWisemiller wasn't the only schoolday friend that Jerry added to the label. 5th to join was Matthew Lima. Full of musical talent but lacking the the self confidence to actually record something, Jerry told Matt to get his ass over and record. So he did. Thus beginning Matthew's solo career with a BANG.

Deciding it was time to step up to a full album Jove and Jerry go through Joves unreleased music collection, take 7 of em that go together and slap em into an album.
Manof's first album release.

With more music up his sleeve, Manof says let's keep em going and sends out another single into the world.

MORE. MORE. MORE.
Jove keeps dishing em out and he wont stop until the majority of the JatC releases are Manof.

The second 7 track album dropped by Manof. Powerful with a deep message. The 7 layers of the album cover represent the 7 tracks.

Cory surprisingly shows up at Jerrys doorstop at 2am one night and says "Jerry, I got a song that i want to release right now." So they sat down and Secrets To The Universe was set to be released a week later.

The number 7 has always done good to Jerry so he figured he would see what he could do with that. Could he get 7 artists on the label and get them all to drop a 7 track album within the year?
Of course.
I'll Bum Two by Jerry Curl was the first album to be included in the 2022 Record Release Box Set Extravaganza with 6 more to follow.

Another one from Manof's stash box. This one will get you feeling like you have the 9th life bodhi sativa in you. Feel the green.
As it was only a 1 song single. it was not included in the 2022 Box Set Extravaganza.
